Permaculture design offers practices that pair the cultivation of food and medicine with environmental stewardship of our place. Simultaneously, we cultivate a strong sense of community.
Learn how to enhance biodiversity, increase carbon storage in our soils, rehydrate the landscape, and provide for wildlife and pollinators in our neighborhoods. In this workshop, we will give an overview of these topics as well as how to enhance the diversity of our diets while preserving heirloom varieties, saving money, and decreasing our reliance on large scale mono-crop agribusiness.
This workshop will provide an introduction of permaculture concepts and highlight various scales of demonstration sites, from the home scale to public.
Please join us for this fun and engaging free workshop as we cultivate an understanding of ecological functions. Together we will generate ideas for action; providing joy and connection putting these permaculture based ideas into practice to enhance our extended community.

CommunityWorks! Monthly Gatherings are here to to help answer that quest. Together, we can turn what we care about into meaningful action.
Each month we will broaden our knowledge learning from experts with ample time for discussion primed to ignite our imagination, and inspire connection and community. Through group conversation we will discover concrete steps to realize our capacity as change makers and how we can build direct actions to transform our world.
